Today is my 2 year anniversary with Chris [info]leiny and I just have to say it's been a great two years! Sadly he works today, and since its second shift, won't be home till just before I go to bed. So we celebrated this past weekend. Went to a Brazilian Steak House called Al Primo Canto. It was excellent. We both left there feeling overly full and near to falling into a meat induced coma! We had discussed getting desert but decided against it because there was just no room. However when the waiter came and asked us, he listed off the menu and when he got to "White Chocolate Mousse Cake" I was sorely tempted. I stood my ground and wisely said no thanks. I probably would have popped if I'd tried to ingest anything else.

I can't believe I've been lucky enough to have you in my life for so long babe and I hope my luck continues to hold for years to come! You've been so wonderful, loving, caring and just all around awesome. I'm thankful every day that I have you! I love you Chris!

I want to send a great big thank you to all the people who helped Chris [info]leiny , Joe [info]profundojoe , and I break in our new apartment. It was a great night because so many of our friends were there. I truly felt the warmth of this housewarming...of course that also could have been the Tequila.

So I'm finally getting to post my own pictures from my trip with Chris [info]leiny , Carlos [info]paladincub21 , and Carl [info]nytemarewulf  down to New Orleans and TBRU. I was only able to upload my New Orleans pictures at this time and not even all of them so when I get the chance I'll be adding more and posting the rest...as long as I remember too.

New Orleans was so awesome. We all said we'd love to come back, hopefully to stay longer than two days.

This is one of my favorite pictures, something I managed to snipe truly by accident.

Q1:
How much straight sex have you had? (was asked anonymously so I don't even know who asked)

A1: )

Q2:
Do you consider yourself well-organized? How often do you have to hunt something down (keys, wallet, etc)?

A2:
I am only at work. I'm totally obsessive compulsive when it comes to my work space. My desk gets touched by others often and if they move stuff it drives me mad. I am constantly putting things back to where they should be. At home I'm the exact opposite. I rarely have to make a mad dash to look for keys, phone or wallet but it does happen. Papers and other debris litter my desk and my clothes are everywhere.

The only other time I get OCD is when planning for an event or trip. I will worry I'm forgetting something, plan out my clothes days in advance and double check my luggage constantly. Chris [info]leiny  just shakes his head.

Keep the questions coming, you can find the original post here!

I don't like my brother Robert. In fact it's a much stronger emotion than that. He's done horrible things to me and my parents and to every girl I've ever seen him with. He's a immature, violent, angry, troubled person who I try to avoid.  I do my best not to have anything to do with him or any girl foolish enough to actually date him.

Yet tonight my heart goes out to him. My brother and his current live in girlfriend had a baby together. They named the little boy Robert David Pelz. In the few months of his's sad little life he was plagued by health problems, including an issue with his heart. Robert had been operated on, but his health was still an issue.

Apparently either last night or this morning he caught a cold and my brother and his girlfriend rushed him to the hospital. From there little Robert, was flown by helicopter to another hospital for emergency care. Unfortunately they could not save him and my brothers son died. The nephew I never knew, never even saw outside of one blurry photo is dead.

I feel horrible for my brother. Despite all the crap he's put me through in my life, no father deserves to have to go through this. I know he loved his son. My brother spent hours at his child's side. This child very well could have changed him for the better. I posted previously that my brother and his girlfriend (whos name always freaking eludes me) had almost had a child before but she suffered a miscarriage and that child was lost. They were devastated by that loss. I can only imagine how they feel now.

My brother is so bad off at this moment that he, himself is in the emergency room due to some form of break down. I hope that he will be alright and that they both will be able to go on. I have no ill will towards him right now. I feel sadness, and pity and loss. They had wanted me to be little Robert's Godfather. I'd declined for several reasons, all of which seem foolish and selfish.

I don't even know if I should go to the wake/funeral. I never knew the kid and I don't know if my brother would be upset if I showed up since I never made the effort to know my nephew while he lived. On the other hand, I want to be there for my brother. I'll more than likely go...

Last night I got to see one of my all time favorite bands (3 Doors Down) in concert at The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond IN. The only reason I had tickets for this show was because my wonderful boyfriend Chris [info]leiny  snatched them up from a co-worker who had won them and didn't want them. He knew I'd want them and he was not mistaken. I'd actually tried to win them from Q101 with no luck. Opening acts included Hoobastank and Seether which were both fun too.

Chris isn't really a fan so he let me take a friend with me, so I grabbed my friend Jason. We had a great time and I have to say that it was the best concert I've been to.  This is simply by the fact that out of all the bands I've seen, while all were fun, I really really wanted to go see 3 Doors Down.

Thank you Chris, thank you so much!!!!!

I already did this on Facebook but figured now that I'm seeing it here as well I'll post it here too.

1. One of my dream jobs is to own a book store. I even have it designed in my head. Will be the main room with 5 rooms around it. Three of the rooms will be for books by genre. Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy with each room designed to match the genre. The main room will be a computer lab and coffee shop. One of the other rooms would be a gaming room used for board games and table top rpgs and the last room would be a lounge area.

2. I enjoy my having nightmares. If I wake up panting and close to screaming out, it was a good dream.

3. I love horror movies. I've been watching them since I was probably around 3 or 4. My Dad would tease me and my brother while watching them with us by making a scary voice, rubbing his beard stubble on our belly's and call the movies KooKoo Movies!

4. When I was little I used to call McDonalds, MehMeal.

5. I have never needed to be in the hospital for any personal reasons. I've never needed stitches, or broken a bone in my life. *knock on wood*

6. I swore at one of my parents for the first time when I was 10. I told my Dad "Fuck you!" in front of his mother, my grandmother.

7. I was told at the age of 16 that I was partially adopted. My Mom is my biological Mother, but my Dad, adopted me when I was in 2nd grade. I knew my parents weren't married when I was little and thought the fact that my last name changed from Williams to Pelz was only because my parents married.

8. I try to keep my temper in check because if I actually get mad I'm afraid of what I might do. I might get upset, but I try to keep any real anger in check.

9. I love music but for me the most important part of any music is the vocals. If I can sing along I am very happy. I've been in choir and voice classes during most of my school life. I'm ok, and have good moments, but I'm not going to win American Idol, not that I'm ever going to try out.

10. I've read approximately 90 books in the last two year... some where reread but most were new to me.

11. I am a pack rat. I will carry a back pack full of things with me that I don't need, just so I have something in case I get bored.

12. Purple is my favorite color and has been for as long as I can remember. It's never changed and I don't believe it ever will. And not just any purple, it has to be deep Royal Purple. Second favorite is Cobalt Blue, and third favorite is Hunter Green

13. The name Orious which I use for almost all my profiles on any site I'm on is the last name of a Dungeons and Dragons character I've had since my Freshman year of High School. First name is Kenneth.

14. My two favorite comfort foods are Chili and Lasagna.

15. Coke or Pepsi? Neither, RC Cola all the way baby!

16. When I was little I wanted to be one of two things when I grew up, an Astronaut or a Vampire.

17. I wear size 14 wide shoes. This can make buying shoes very difficult for me. I tend to only go to Payless Shoes when I need new shoes. Also, I have never paid more than $25 bucks plus tax for a pair of shoes on my own. I have owned shoes that cost more, a pair of Nike's and a pair of L.A. Gears (with the three colored laces teal, purple, and white and the air pump in the tongue), both were bought for me by my parents.

18. I feel very very very at home in the water. I have been swimming since I was 3. This makes sense to me because I am a Scorpio which is a Water Sign.

19. When I was little, and I was getting my hair cut, the women who would cut my hair used to tell me with a very regular basis, that "Women would kill to have your color hair". This was told to me by no less than 20 different people. My hair used to be very auburn, especially during the Summer. I have died my hair in past years to try and recapture that color because I loved it.

20. I am currently on my 5th car since I've started driving. I've owned a Silver Plymouth Reliant, which wasn't. My second car was a Brown Ford Taurus which had so many problems I can't even begin to describe it. My favorite car was my Black Mercury Grand Marquis which died when I was going down hill at 55 miles an hour only to discover I didn't have breaks. I owned a second Ford Taurus, which was Maroon in color and previously belonged to my Mom. My current car is a Tan Ford Focus, which so far has given me no problems.

21. Most of my clothes consist of jeans and dark or black t-shirts.

22. This is the point where I started having trouble thinking up random things to tell you.

23. I am very picky for a fat guy. There are so many things that are common foods that everyone likes that i can't stand. A few examples are Ketchup, Mustard, Pickles, any yellow cheeses, coffee and so many more.

24. Once I move into the new apartment on March 1st I will have lived in 7 different places during my life time. 9 if you count the fact that I technically moved out of and back into my parents house twice.

25. This is probably not a mystery to some of you but I am a pretty kinky person.

So funny story...either someone stole, or I somehow lost all of my underwear. Possibly a combination of the two.

Monday morning I got up early so I could go to a local Laundromat to wash my clothes. I got there early enough to wash the clothes and dry them with out fighting over machines with other people.  I pulled all of my clothes out of the dryers, folded them, and packed them back in my basket and a bag I had brought with me. Shirts, pants, and work clothes all went into the basket.  Two towels, my socks, jock strap and all the underwear I own went in the bag. I carried it all out to the car, put the basket on the front passenger seat, the bag in the foot well and got in and drove home. Got home, grabbed bag and basket, all at once, and carried them upstairs.  Left them both in the living room till I could put them away, if I put them away. Grabbed my jock from the bag, showered, dressed, and went out.

Fast forward, Tuesday morning. Got up, got ready for bed, went to get my clean clothes from my stuff found all the pieces I needed...except my underwear. Not in the living room, not in the bag, not in the basket. I hadn't brought my freshly laundered things else where so they shouldn't and couldn't be any where else. I got dressed as usual, sans undies and left because by now I was getting close to running late. Ran to my car, started it up, looked to see if my things were in the foot well or under the seat...no such luck. Went to work, got through the day, the whole time wondering where they were. Told my boss my story...to which her response was to send me to Penney's to buy at least one pair of underwear. I went...saw the prices and turned right back around and walked out.

Finally got home, looked some more and decided that they were gone. I even checked the ground next to where I parked the previous day to see if they were there. Nothing. No sign of them anywhere. So now all I have is my jock. While nice, and comfortable, I can't wear that day in day out, even if I am washing it in the sink.

So with this in mind I've decided to start the "Support Adam's Balls" Fund. I'm taking donations to put towards two new packs of Hanes or Fruit of the Loom Boxer Briefs. I don't need much... $25 bucks tops. If interested in supporting my balls, please send checks or money orders to P.O. Box...Get real...I'm not going to ask for money for underwear! I'm going to go out and get new stuff as soon as I get the chance. In the mean time It's commando all the way. Oh well, it is a rather freeing experience after all ;)

At least you can get clean... our buildings hot water is not working... the apartment is kinda cold but not unlivable if your dressed and under a cover, but worst of all I can't take a shower unless I want my anatomy to go from an outy to an extreme inny! I appologize if you've seen this before but I thought it was cut. This is taken from an email my boss sent me.

A Christmas Story - for anyone having a bad day....

When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the pre-Christmas pressure.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.  When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.  Then, when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were  scattered.

So, frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drunk all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and, irritated, Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day?  I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?"

.........And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree......

So I was at home, on my computer yesterday, enjoying my day off when suddenly the power to my tower dies. There is a slight smell of electricity and burning dust and when I tried to turn my computer back on it will not come back on. I know the power works cause my monitor still has power and it's plugged into the same extension cord.

I'm pretty sure my computer is kaput! DAMN IT! I'm currently on Chris's [Unknown LJ tag] computer typing this up. I'm just so peeved that this happened. The computer wasn't new, it was in fact about 4 years old, but I'd built it from scratch myself (with help from my techy friend Jason). I really liked my computer and now its dead!

The only good thing about this is that my parents were already talking about getting me a new computer for Christmas. Nothing special but anything new is better than what I had. Not that my computer was bad but as I said it was old as computers go and the hard drive was even older (about 7 years).

My main worry now is that I lost the contents of said old harddrive. Ben [Unknown LJ tag] says that I probably will not have lost anything but I'll need someone who has a hard drive enclosure. I'm not sure exactly what that is...but I trust Ben knows what he's talking about. Does anyone else have any suggestions on where I can find one of these things or perhaps other ideas on how to retrieve my info.

Of course I don't really want everything on there, which forces me to clear out a lot of what I've been meaning to get rid of for a long time now. Oh well, now just to wait till my parents get me the computer which they said would be sooner than Christmas now that I truly need one.

The name is appropriate. Each year employees in any form of retail job look at this day with blackest dread. Despite weeks of preperation, they are never fully ready to handle the throngs of manic, angry, rude, bargain hunters with indigestion from eating too much the day before.

I was working yesterday, and at 5pm my coworker, came across 2 different groups of people ready to camp out in the Sears parking lot. They planned on waiting 12 hours so they could be first in line for what ever madness inducing sale the store was planning. *sigh*

Friends, as one of the people who has to put up with this insanity, I beg you...Stay Home! I think the likelyness of this plea actually benifiting me is slim, but I can dream can't I? Don't add to the chaos, rest up, stay warm, and recover from turkey over dose.

If you live in and around the Chicago land area and watched the news last night then you probably heard all about the hullabaloo surrounding my mall yesterday. Orland Square Mall played host to a Brittish actor named Robert Pattinson last night. He played Cedric Digory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Well now he's staring in a new movie called "Twilight". Also based off of a book series, he plays the part of Edward, an apparently day walking vampire, in a what can only be described as a teenage girls romance novel.

He's a handsome guy if you happen to like angular faced twinks with hair like a birds nest and a sexy Brittish accent. Despite his good looks I really didn't see what the big deal was. The mall was flooded with thousands of girls last night who wanted to get his autograph and see him in a short Q&A session he did.

Well he made it to the stage and was being asked the questions by someone from some media group oe another. Everytime he opened his mouth to answer however the audience screamed and cried and despite his using a microphone noone could really hear his answers except those right next to him.

At one point the questioner asked "How do you style your hair?". Which was a question one of the girls in the audience had written down and submitted for this Q&A session. Well despite the fact that he seemed horrified of his fans, he took this opportunity to exhibit some of his humor. My boss who was standing near by was one of only a few people who heard him answer over the din "I have a group of 12 virgins that lick it every morning".

Hearing this made working a 13.5 hour day yesterday completely worth while.

The mall management office at my mall hosted a meeting this morning for all the tenants. It was to discuss strategies for dealing with the coming holidays.

Anyway the meeting was catered by Polonia Catering. There was scrambled eggs, breakfast potatos, biscuits, bacon and sausage links. There was A LOT of leftovers afterwards and right now in the security office there are two large aluminum pans filled with all of the above foods. One pan alone is holding just the meat which has to weigh about 10 pounds.

I've already eaten and I didn't even make a dent in it. I'm close to meat overdose! Which is saying something coming from me ;)

With Halloween (my favorite holiday) just around to the corner, I can't help but thinking of what I'm going to do for my costume this year. I've done a interesting variety of things over the year but there are two costumes I've gone back to multiple times.

My all time favorite costume is that of a vampire. Not the traditional gothic, Dracula type vampire, but a modern type. Vampires are cool, mysterious, sexy, scary and just plain awesome.

The other is me dressing in drag. Now mind you I've only done that twice and only for Halloween, but it's kinda fun and amusing. Drag Queens themselves are just fun. I personally prefer the ones who attempt to look more realistic as opposed to the over the top kind.

Well this year I was thinking of combining the two concepts. I'd like to be a vampire in very "realistic" drag. My problems though are finding a good costume and especially shoes for a reasonable price. If I can just rent the clothes somewhere that would be fine. I'd need help with make up and a wig as well. I'm not going to shave my legs or anything to that extent but I will shave off the facial hair, wear black tights to hide the leg hair and do any other cheats to avoid having to do too much. Does anyone know where I might be able to find things to help me with this?

Oh and so you have an idea of what I looked like on one of my previous attempts 3 years ago, here ya go!

It's silly and crazy and part of why I enjoy Halloween. Being something that I'm not is all part of the thrill.

Chris [info]dedos went to the Hot Chip concert at the Metro last night. The opening act was a two man group called Growing. They were ok, had a few good moments but for the most part it was nothing but noise. Hot Chip themselves, however, were much better. I hadn't really heard much of their music before hand, just a 3 YouTube vids. I was happily impressed. Their style of music is not normally what I listen to but I like to explore new things. They put on a good show and I'd gladly go see them again. This was also my first time at the Metro. Its a great little venue.
